It’s rare and wonderful to have a flowing creek on your property. 12000 Skaggs Springs is blessed with three of them.
Warm Springs Creek is the main feature near the house. It borders the property near much of the eastern property line. It runs close to the property line (and road) for nearly a quarter mile north past the house.
Wild Cattle Creek flows across the property from west to east near the southern end of the property before joining Warm Springs Creek.
There is enough elevation change to keep the creek flowing through riffles and small falls, but staying on the road above the creek is a relatively easy walk. The fern log is typical of the lush, shade-loving foliage along the creek.
Little Strawberry Creek crosses the northeast corner of the property near where the road turns east before adding its water to Warm Springs Creek which feeds into Lake Sonoma a couple miles down stream. Little Strawberry Creek has a long series of small falls winding down the steeper terrain at the north end of the property. I would call it the most scenic of the three creeks.
